Engineering AI
Engineering systems such as machines, factories, and construction activities are designed and manufactured following detailed processes involving various tools and specifications. Once the systems are designed and RFQs are issued for various components, the construction and system realisation follow. Generally, multiple disciplines—mechanical, civil, structural, piping, electrical, chemical engineering, supply chain, vendors, and fabrication processes—are involved. There are significant opportunities for optimising those processes using AI/ML-assisted solutions.
Evomaton consults and co-creates AI solutions in product design, design automation, vendor interactions, supply chain, verification, and operations. The Evomaton team comprises of experienced engineers, AI/ML experts, data engineers, and engineering tool experts who can craft end-to-end solutions of agentic AI involving LLMs, classical ML, deep learning, and tool calling. These capabilities enable varying levels of intelligent solutions for engineering reviews, bidding-stage estimation, physics-constrained designs, intelligent document reviews, intelligent simulations, project control, and many other similar processes.

“ Drawing is engineers language” – Detailed domain knowledge, Innovative and self-validated techniques, properly chosen LLMs, OCRs, and other engineering tools can automate the drawing-reading, information extraction, comparison, and enable integrated workflows. It helps engineers and reduce significant time in design, vendor interaction, supply chain and bidding process.
Input preparation and output processing of an engineering tool is a significant part of an engineer’s daily work. Intelligent coordination of various tools, regulatory guidelines, and pre-processors to create detailed and validated inputs, as well as automated output processing with intelligence, can supplement an engineer’s daily job and save a significant amount of organisations’ time and money.
Project management, supply chain, and purchasing software tools can be augmented with innovative AI-based automations that can save significant engineering hours and offer high ROI.
Data collected over the years in design and operation can be leveraged to create data-oriented solutions, which can enrich the physics and engineering models for better accuracy. Digital twining, nonlinearity assessment, data-driven design, FEED stage estimation, simplified transient analysis are now possible with lesser investment and high ROI.
